Made in 2020 and re-worked in 2025, this piece proved to be a pivotal work for me towards new aesthetic explorations and working methods. It’s a small-scale mixed media work on five plywood panels, creating both tension and harmony between solid and fluid, spontaneous forms. Expressive bursts of orange, pink, blue gloss and earthy tones evoke movement and immediacy. In contrast, the angular planes of black, rendered in oil, cut across the surface like architectural fragments.
